Do items have to be new to be insured?
No. You can insure your items with us regardless of age, except if you are insuring a mobile phone, laptop, tablet, television or camera.
If you are insuring one of these items, then you must have purchased the item in the last 90 days unless the item is currently insured on another policy and you are transferring the item to us. You will be required to provide a copy of your purchase receipt or invoice when you take out the policy. If you are transferring the item from another insurance policy you will need to provide a copy of your current certificate of insurance.
Can more than one item be insured on the policy?
Yes, you can insure any combination of single items. However, if you have multiple items you might look at Contents Insurance as an option.
Will an excess need to be paid?
Yes, the policy will include an excess that will need to be
paid when claiming.
Is your stuff covered if it’s stolen outside their home?

How do you make a claim?

What if you sell your stuff?
You need to notify us if you sell your insured item so the policy can be cancelled or upgraded if they purchased a replacement.
Do you need a police report to make a claim?
Yes, if your item was stolen (or damaged in a robbery) you’ll need the report to submit a claim.
